Irondequoit Bay on Ghost Town DK
COLORWAY
NEW - Released for the Winter 2025 ROC Love collection; a color series inspired by my home city Rochester, NY.
Irondequoit Bay is a reflection of the serene yet ever-changing waters that shape this hidden gem of Rochester. This variegated and speckled colorway captures the essence of the bay, where land and water intertwine in a landscape of quiet beauty and natural wonder. Dark forest green flows through the skein, evoking the dense woodlands and rolling hills that cradle the bay’s winding shores. Deep indigo mirrors the water’s shifting depths, where the surface darkens beneath passing clouds and the vast sky above. Bright aqua streaks through the colorway like sunlight dancing on gentle waves, a reminder of the bay’s vibrant energy as boats glide across its surface and wildlife thrives along its banks. Just as Irondequoit Bay has long been a meeting place of land, water, and sky, this colorway blends rich, organic hues to tell the story of a place where nature remains untamed and ever-inspiring.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool safe detergent such as Eucalan. Lay flat to dry. It is normal for some color to bleed from hand dyed yarns when washed for the first time; cold water will help to prevent bleeding.
FROM THE STUDIO
Each skein will vary in saturation and speckling, even if they are from the same dye batch. This is what makes hand dyed yarn so unique and special. If creating a project requiring multiple skeins of the same color, always rotate your skeins every few rows for a seamless blend of color.
