See You at Fiberworld
Can you believe that the Fiberworld Show 2021 is just days away!
So what exactly is Fiberworld you say? Fiberworld is so much more than just another virtual fiber show; it is an entire platform designed specifically to allow everyone to be able to gather and experience all of the fun and shenanigans that go on at fiber festivals regardless of location. Their mission is accessibility. Anyone can attend no matter where in the world you may be. This is the ONLY event that literally brings vendors, instructors, and fiber lovers together across the globe for a five-day event packed full of fun.
There are classes, demos, lounge events and of course the marketplace packed with over 80 vendors including Megs & Co.

Along with a few activities that we are planning on attending, we have a full line-up of our own including live shopping help, yarn dying demonstrations, plus the reveal of an exciting collaboration to raise money for our favorite charities.

Wednesday July 21
5:00 – 7:00 PM ET Marketplace Preview
• The Megs & Co virtual booth will be open and the shop update will be live!
7:00 – 8:00 PM ET Opening Ceremonies
• Join your Fiberworld hosts on the Fiberlicious Stage for the official opening ceremonies event that will be sure to include giveaways!
8:00 PM – 9:30 PM ET Raising Eyebrows Shawl Launch in the Cozy Lounge
• Remember that super secret project that I have been teasing you all about for months now on social media? Well, all secrets will be revealed in the Cozy Lounge! Join the Bean Knits and friends for a new shawl launch party. Every participant made the shawl a little bit differently. We’ll discuss how each is unique and how you can get your very own. Later in the weekend, we will be hosting a silent auction to sell either finished shawls or kits. The money raised from the auction will go to charity that each partner has chosen.
Thursday July 22
5:00 – 7:00 PM ET Megs & Co Open Booth Hours Broadcasting From the Yarn Shop
• The Megs & Co virtual booth will be open for live shopping help along with a show & tell of our newest shop samples to inspire your next project. I heard that there may even be a giveaway just for attending!
Friday July 23
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM ET Yarn Crawl
• The Yarn Crawl stops at the Megs & Co vendor booth at 4 PM on Friday and we will be in the Dye Lab cooking up something special.
5:00 PM – 6:30 PM ET Mystery Dying with Megs & Co in the Cozy Lounge
• Head on over to the Cozy Lounge and Join Meg in the yarn dying studio as we create a brand new and one of kind colorway together! We will highlight a few of our favorite techniques including mixing dye solutions, creating resists, and of course speckling as we create a brand new and one of a kind Mystery Colorway.
6:30 – 8:30 PM ET Fashion Show
• The favorite and most attended virtual event of the year is back! The Fiberworld Fashion Show is a fascinating collection of garments and projects curated together from festival goer submissions and paired together with insightful commentary from your festival hosts.
Saturday July 24
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET Megs & Co Open Booth Hours Broadcasting From the Dye Lab
• The Megs & Co virtual booth will be open and broadcasting from the dye lab.
5:00 PM – 8 PM ET Megs & Co Open Booth Hours Broadcasting From the Yarn Shop
• The Megs & Co virtual booth will be open for live shopping help along with a show & tell of our newest shop samples to inspire your next project. I heard that there may even be a giveaway just for attending!
9:00 PM ET PJ Party in the Cozy Lounge
• Meg will be cuddled up in the Cozy Lounge for the annual PJ Party hosted by Amy Snell.
Sunday July 25
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM ET Raising Eyebrows and Raising Funds Silent Auction in the Cozy Lounge
• We are Raising Eyebrows and Raising Funds. You’ll have seen the launch of this new shawl and probably seen it around at various booths. This afternoon we are holding a silent auction of finished shawls as well as kits to raise money for our favorite charities. Help us, help others.
This is just a tiny fraction of the events that are happening at Fiberworld all week long beginning Wednesday night.
